Just for… Candidates

"Who are you?"

SchoolVote makes it easy for you to publish your profile information (background information and school-related interests), and makes it easy for your classmates and other students to locate and read that information. Just select the Profile option after logging in. There you will find "My Background" and "My School-Related Interests" text boxes. Enter up to a full page of text in each box, select Save, and your profile information will be published.

"Can I trust you?"

Even students who don't know you very well can trust you if they know and trust your endorsement providers. Make it easy for them to find trustworthy endorsements by publishing as many detailed endorsements as you can. After logging in, select the Endorsements option and press the "Add Endorsement" button. You will see blank fields for the information entered on a candidate endorsement form by an endorsement provider. Enter that information, select Save, and your endorsement will be published.

"Got ID?"

Do you have your SchoolVote account information (username and password)? Candidates receive their account information from the Student Council Adviser shortly after the candidate filing deadline. If you are running for a student government office, would like to use SchoolVote, and have not received a username and password, please contact your Student Council Adviser.

Would you like to learn more about how you can use SchoolVote effectively in your campaign? After logging in, you will be able to view a concise reference guide for candidates.
